SciMax Call Center RFP Project Launches in Record Time


Princeton, NJ: An oncology biotechnology company leading the development and commercialization of next-generation antibody drug conjugates went live with their Medical Information Contact Center on 01-Mar-21, bringing a successful closure to our project at SciMax Global (SciMax).

On their mission to bring unique therapies and hope to patients and their families, the client needed to select and implement a Contact Center partner to support the approval of a new product. In order to support an aggressive timeline, SciMax assembled a project team with extensive knowledge and experience to support a project of this scale. The SciMax project team provided project management, business analysis, and business process expertise support to ensure that we met our client’s business requirements, budget and timeline. Our Client-Partner trusted us to provide end-to-end services for the evaluation, selection and implementation of the best partner to meet their needs.

Working in conjunction with our client, we developed a comprehensive list of requirements for both the contact center and the Medical Information system that will support the client’s current and future needs. Our list of deliverables included:

  • Review and develop business process documents
  • Creation of a detailed User Requirements Specifications (URS) document
  • Curation of a list of potential vendors
  • Creation of the RFP document and questionnaire
  • Coordination of the solutions presentations

Using a personalized vendor scorecard created by SciMax for a bid defense, the best vendor was ultimately selected to support the rollout. SciMax refined the deployment and implementation plan accordingly. According to Kirsten Carson, SciMax’s Customer Success Manager, “This was one of the fastest and smoothest rollouts I’ve ever been a part of. The team’s collaboration and dedication to the project made this a major success for SciMax, the Contact Center Vendor, and ultimately our client.”

The goal was to select a vendor and implement a Contact Center solution within fifteen weeks. With the help of SciMax’s team, the thorough vendor selection process, configuration and total implementation concluded after twelve weeks.
